<b>Dan Wolf</b><br/> Founder & CEO
Dan founded Lifeline in 2003 to help displaced persons and other vulnerable individuals live more productive and enjoyable lives. Prior to founding Lifeline, Dan served two years as an attorney-adviser at the U.S. State Department and 25 years in private legal practice, during the course of which he spearheaded a series of ground-breaking lawsuits on behalf of victims of human, civil and consumer rights abuses. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Michigan School of Law.

<b>Bryan Mukago</b><br/> Country Director - Finance & Operations
A seasoned and MBA-trained finance professional, Bryan joined Lifeline in June 2025 and comes with 15 years of progressive leadership experience building and strengthening sustainable financial systems in both the private and non-profit sectors. He specializes in financial strategy and operations, including multi‑country financial management, donor compliance, grants administration, risk management, procurement, logistics and operational capacity building.

<b>Zoe Pacciani</b><br/> COO
Zoe has been serving as Lifeline’s COO since June 2023. She is a proven leader with demonstrable success in developing and guiding sustainable development programs, national programming, strategic guidance, and community-centered project management. Her background includes extensive fieldwork, policy and program development, senior management, leadership, team building, and strategic planning. Zoe is passionate about team development, cohesion, and mentoring.

<b>John Okumu</b><br/> Principal Engineer
John joined Lifeline in 2025 as its principal WASH engineer and has over a decade of experience in the field, working in both the humanitarian and private sector. He specializes in the design, construction and management of rural water infrastructure and has a passion for building sustainable water supply systems.

<b>Boniface Okwir</b><br/> WASH Engineer
Boniface Okwir is a highly passionate WASH enthusiast with an impressive educational background in biosystems engineering, specializing in water resources management. With over eight years of experience in the water and sanitation sector, he focuses on serving rural and underserved communities in Uganda and neighboring East African countries. His expertise lies in finding and designing sustainable underground water resources. Through collaboration with international NGOs, Boniface implements clean, safe, and sustainable water solutions to improve access to clean water resources, promote public health, and enhance the wellbeing of vulnerable communities.

<b>Awelo Julious</b><br/> WASH Engineer
Julious is a civil engineering professional who joined Lifeline in the Spring of 2024. He has over a decade of experience in the design, planning and construction of institutional water and sanitation infrastructure for both non-profit organizations and private sector companies. Likewise, he has extensive knowledge of water quality testing and management information systems.

<b>Isaac Okello</b><br/> WASH Engineer
Prior to joining Lifeline in 2022, Isaac worked for five years on a USAID-funded WASH project as an engineer with Whave in the Karamoja Region, where he focused on water supply, design, planning, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. Isaac holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Management from Kyambogo University in Kampala and a national diploma in Water and Sanitation Engineering from Uganda Technical College in Lira.

<b>Heidi Myers</b><br/> Senior Finance Adviser
Lifeline’s long-serving head of finance, Heidi rejoined the organization in 2025 following a three-year hiatus, during which she served as director of finance and operations for the Coral Reef Alliance. Heidi has decades of executive leadership experience advancing financial strategy, strengthening internal controls, ensuring grant compliance, and promoting operational efficiency and financial transparency.

<b>Martin Odoch</b><br/> HR & Admin Manager
Martin is Lifeline's Senior Human Resources and Administrative Officer with experience in managing and implementing essential HR functions in different organizations. He is skilled at building and maintaining relationships, representing shared company values, and managing employees across all levels of an organization. Martin holds an MBA and Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, both obtained from Makerere University Business School.

<b>Bosco Okello</b><br/> EverFlow Manager
Bosco is an entrepreneurship and project management professional with over seven years of experience in business development, social enterprise, and delivery of essential services. His work combines human-centered design with practical systems thinking to turn complex community challenges into scalable, real-world solutions that strengthen local capacity, improve livelihoods and sustain water infrastructure.

<b>Jacob Sendagire</b><br/> Production Manager
Jacob rejoined Lifeline in August 2023, as leader of our stove production team. He has over 15 years of experience in the fuel-efficient energy sector, including a previous five-year stint with Lifeline from 2012 to 2016. He has also served as production coordinator for the Uganda National Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Alliance (UNREEEA) and as an expert consultant for, among others, the World Food Program, POWA international, and Imperative Global. Jacob’s expertise includes product design and development, production, testing, distribution and management.

<b>Lastone Oyuki</b><br/> Senior MEAL Coordinator
Lastone joined Lifeline in 2022 and now serves as head of the M&E department. He has over a decade of experience in MEAL and a rich background in project monitoring and evaluation in both emergency and development settings. He holds a postgraduate diploma in monitoring and evaluation.

<b>Andrew Katebariirwe</b><br/> Senior Finance Officer
Andrew joined Lifeline in the Spring of 2025. He has over 10 years of financial experience in the humanitarian and development sectors, including with regard to the implementation of internal controls, financial forecasting, risk management and regulatory compliance. Drawing on this experience, Andrew has helped steer financial strategy and optimize operational performance for projects relating to clean water, energy, education, health and livelihoods.

<b>Emmanuel Kirya</b><br/> Senior Logistics Officer
Emmanuel has three years of experience working with international humanitarian organizations implementing local and international projects in Uganda. He has been privileged to work on a wide variety of humanitarian development projects — providing procurement and logistics support to support program implementation in WASH, education, shelter, protection, nutrition and livelihoods. He is a graduate of the Makerere University Business School.

<b>Rich Myers</b><br/> Information Systems Engineer
Rich has extensive experience in information systems engineering, including in the legal and healthcare industries. He provides professional IT support to Lifeline’s HQ and field teams —enabling Lifeline to stay up-to-date technologically, maximize its resources and maintain a high level of operational efficiency. He has over 30 years of experience on both Mac and Windows operating systems including desktops, servers and cloud systems.

<b>Anyango Paska Sizella</b><br/> Senior WASH Officer
Paska is one of the longest serving members of the Lifeline team, having joined us in January 2013. She has extensive WASH experience, with prior specialized training in CLTS, PHAST and CHAST methodologies. Prior to joining Lifeline, she worked with several humanitarian organizations, including as a WASH supervisor for Action Against Hunger. Paska holds a diploma in Environmental Management and a Certificate in Community-Based Rural Development.

<b>Sandra Apio</b><br/> WASH Officer
Sandra has over seven years of extensive work experience in the WASH sector — promoting community engagement and implementing various training methodologies, including CLTS, PHAST and CHAST, in emergency, recovery and development contexts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Science and a post-graduate diploma in project planning and management from Uganda Management Institute.

<b>Salima Dawa</b><br/> Project Officer
Salima joined Lifeline in February 2022, after having gained over five years' experience working with NGOs as an agronomist. She has experience includes training farmers on agronomic practices, group formation, mobilization and sensitization, and implementation of irrigation technologies. Salima has a certificate in General Agriculture from Arapai Agricultural College in Soroti.

<b>Doreen Asio Faso</b><br/> Senior Program Officer
Doreen joined Lifeline in 2018 as a consultant liaison officer attached to Lifeline’s WFP-SAFE project. Subsequently, she served as a project officer based at our field office in the Moroto district of Karamoja and currently serves as senior program officer in the environmental department. Previously, she worked as a Research Assistant with USAID, implementing a school health and reading program (SHARP). Doreen holds a master’s degree in M&E from Uganda Martyrs University.

<b>Angella Akello</b><br/> Communications Officer
Angella is a passionate communications and design enthusiast with a background in journalism and communications. Her expertise includes design, branding, communication strategies and photography – all aimed at driving innovation, verbal and visual storytelling, transparency and lasting impact.

<b>Akica Mirriam Amoli</b><br/> MEAL Officer
With an academic background in economics and statistics and a passion for data-driven decision-making and program accountability, Miriam is building a career in Monitoring & Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL). Over the past three years, she has gained experience in data collection, analysis, reporting, and results-based monitoring – tools that she employs to enhance program effectiveness and improve outcomes.

<b>Otile Gerald </b><br/> Logistics Officer
Gerald is a highly motivated professional specializing in procurement and Logistics. With a diverse background that spans across the humanitarian, private and governmental sectors, he has gained extensive experience in procurement/supply chain management, warehouse operations, and fleet and asset management.

<b>Arnold Ekwaru</b><br/> Everflow Field Coordinator
With a background in sociology and social work and four years of experience in the WASH sector, Arnold serves as a field coordinator of Lifeline’s Everflow initiatives. He has a passion for working directly with communities to build their capacity and co-create sustainable and durable solutions that address their clean water needs.

<b>Kenneth Olake</b><br/> Everflow Field Coordinator
A field coordinator on the EverFlow team, Kenneth had eight years of experience in the operation and maintenance of piped water supply schemes in both rural and urban settings and an additional five year of experience in construction. He is a team player, who has a passion for working with others and building professional and sustainable water service delivery systems.

<b>Andrew Ekol</b><br/> Everflow Field Coordinator
Andrew joined Lifeline in 2017 as a WASH Volunteer, helping to train communities on best sanitation and hygiene practices. In 2019, he formally joined our staff as the EverFlow Help Desk Officer —acting as its day-to-day customer service link to participating communities. He now serves as coordinate of EverFlow’s operations in the field. Andrew graduated with a bachelor's degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Kampala University.

<b>Adwek Graciano</b><br/> Everflow Community Officer
As a community officer assigned to Lifeline’s Everflow initiative in Apac District, Graciano helps mobilize and engage rule communities in the effective operation and maintenance of their water infrastructure. His efforts focus on strengthening community ownership, ensuring timely fee collection, and promoting long-term sustainability.

<b>Juliet Akwero</b><br/> Data & Community Liaison Officer
In her capacity as data and community liaison officer, Juliet transforms data and community feedback into actionable insights that strengthen rural water service delivery. She specializes in data management, quality assurance and community engagement to enhance accountability and support responsive M&E processes.

<b>Benard Bbosa</b><br/> Production Officer
Benard is a production officer in our stove factory with over ten years of experience in stove design and production as well as in ceramics, piped water and sanitary systems. He is committed to learning, innovating and helping to uplift the lives of less privileged individuals.

<b>Lorna Akaki Akullu </b><br/> Finance Assistant
Lorna is a results-driven finance officer with expertise in financial management, budgeting and reporting. With experience in both the humanitarian and private sectors, she is committed to ensuring transparency, accountability and compliance in financial operations.

<b>Deborah Terry</b> <br/> Vice President
Deborah is one of the co-founders of Lifeline. She is a freelance photographer who has conducted numerous photographic missions to Africa for Lifeline and other humanitarian organizations. She is passionate about utilizing her artistic vision to uncover the beauty, simplicity and grace of those living in more difficult circumstances as they go about their everyday lives. Deborah is also an established fashion and music photographer, whose images have been exhibited at the Lincoln Center and at Art Basel in Miami. Since 2004, she has focused her creative energies on humanitarian photography.

<b>Mark Lampert</b>
Mark is the founder and president of the Biotechnology Value Fund, L.P., a San Francisco-based private investment firm established in 1993, and is a founding trustee of the Lampert Family Foundation. Previously, Mark was a Vice President at the investment banking firm Oppenheimer & Co. in New York, headed business development for Cambridge NeuroScience, and served as Assistant to the President of the NutraSweet Company. He holds an AB Degree in chemistry from Harvard College and an MBA Degree from Harvard Business School.

<b>Alexander Kunin</b>
Alex is VP for Business Operations of Reston, VA-based DEXISIVE, Inc., a professional services firm specializing in advance security operations and enterprise performance engineering within the government and commercial sectors. Prior to his work at DEXISIVE, Alex was Account Director at OPNET Technologies Inc., where he had direct responsibility for multi-million dollar deal negotiations and deployments in support of major initiatives within the Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Census, and United Nations.

<b>Harriet Isom</b>
For 35 years, Harriet served with the Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer in Asia and Africa. During her last 10 years of service, Harriet headed the American Embassies in Laos, Benin and Cameroon. Since retirement in 1996, she has worked as a “gentlewoman farmer” on her family ranch near Pendleton, Oregon. Ambassador Isom holds a B.A. from Mills College and an M.A.L.D from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

<b>Dr. F. Ronald Denham</b>
Throughout his career and, in particular, in his capacity as Chairperson of WASRAG, Ron has supported a range of water and sanitation projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and India. A published author, Ron is also a recognized authority on logistics management, with a specialized focus in supply chain logistics and operations strategies. He holds a M.B.A in Business Administration from SUNY at Buffalo and a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Newcastle-on-Tyne.

<b>Brett Freedman</b>
Brett currently serves as a senior advisor at WestExec Advisors, a strategic advisory firm. He has over two decades of experience advising senior decision-makers on public policy issues, including as Chief of Staff in the National Security Division of the Department of Justice, as both General and Minority Counsel for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and as a Presidential Management Fellow in the Department of Homeland Security. Brett is a graduate of Boston University, the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and Suffolk University Law School.

<b>Terrance Woodbury</b>
Terrance is president and founder partner of HIT Strategies, the leading millennial and minority-owned public opinion research firm in the United States. His client list includes major political organizations such as the DNC and DSCC and philanthropic organization such as the Rockefeller and Gates Foundations. A graduate of Morehouse College, Terrance has devoted his career to amplifying underrepresented voices.

<b>Igor Markov</b>
Igor joined the Lifeline Board in 2024 after nearly a decade of service with the organization as its Director of Business Development and Senior WASH Adviser in Uganda. Igor recently completed an engagement as Director Social of Sustainability for SLB, the world’s leading oilfield services company. He has two decades of experience in the oil and gas drilling industry and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidad Simón Bolívar in Venezuela.
