Gloria Berochan
Uganda Deputy Country Director
Gloria Berochan joined Lifeline in January 2024 as a Deputy Country Director with over 12 years of work experience in leading country programs and partnership development in various INGOs. She has worked in both development and humanitarian contexts. She is a strong advocate for Gender Equality And Social Inclusion (GESI), innovations, and sustainable community-driven solutions. She is competent in strategic planning, program development and management, organization system strengthening, partnership development, and management, among others.
Prior to joining Lifeline, she served as a Director of Program and Partnership at Development without Boarders, Deputy Program Director at GOAL, Senior Program Coordinator at WaterAid, Project/Infrastructure Coordinator at World Vision, and WASH Project Manager at Plan International.
She holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Water Resources Engineering Option), a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering and Management, and has done several short training courses.
